After graduating from college with a degree in Psychology, I continued my education and received my Masters of Education in counseling. I was blessed with the very rewarding job of Guidance Counselor for the visually impaired with New York City Public Schools. Shortly after the birth of my first son we moved from New York to Connecticut. I spent the next few years raising my two boys, and helping with our family's online business. With my eldest son starting college this fall, and my youngest only two years behind him, I started to think about how I would like to be spending my time in the next phase of my life. While brainstorming, I began jotting down all the things I loved doing, and animals were always a part of that list.
I've always been obsessed with cats and dogs. No animal was too slimy, big or small for me. Over the years I've had Salamanders, fish, snakes, hamsters, mice, rats, frogs, and of course dogs and cats. I spent a lot of time volunteering at animal shelters. I also worked in a veterinary office in New York City for years when I was in graduate school. A pet sitting business is a dream come true for me. It's something I really have a passion for, and I would like to carry that passion over to you and your pets.
